Lack for mankind is not a problem with God, but a problem in man as I will discuss after the following Scripture passages. Christ, in very un-pluralistic fashion commanded his people to disciple the nations (Matthew 28:18-20), teaching them to obey all that Christ taught them (which excludes all that other religions teach); this is also why judges and kings are commanded to “kiss the Son” (Psalm 2:10-12). Christ is Lord of all! This rule of Christ, to whom “all authority has been given” in heaven and on earth, comes through the “dominion” of the Church. Not a dominion of oppression and dominance, but a dominion of nurture and cultivation as she teaches and lives the Gospel of Christ and thus draws the nations (Isaiah 60) into the Kingdom of God. Jeremiah gives us a picture of this in the following verses.
